No arrows in the quiver

Bogotá, September 2019.

Arrows where designed for the war. You use them fighting. They are not decoration, they were a weapon. So, in words of Raphael Mcmanus: " if we have one life, live in a way that at the end of your days, where no arrows in your quiver," it means, live your life in a way that you give everything away to God, keep nothing for yourself.

Why i am writing this? Because we had a decision to take. The pastor of our local church, ask us to be the leaders of the youth group in the church.

With Pipe and his 3 roles in Latin Link, it was silly to say yes to that proposal. It meant that he would need days of 28 hours. We hesitate loads about it.

But, God spoke to us. The people leading the youth ministry were alone and tired. We had something for them. We could refresh what they were already doing with such a passion and faithfulness.

As a family we looked our quiver. there was not many arrows, but some and a heart full of passion to see God move around all the circles that we touch: The projects that we work with, the Striders that we mentor, the friends that we have, the family that has been given to us, and our local church.

So we decided to say yes to the challenge and now we are the leaders of what we called "The kingdom" youth people from 12 to 22 years old who are radical an passionate for seeing the Kingdom come.

Our first meeting as "The Kingdom"
