Family Visit!!
Bogotá, Colombia.
Last February we received Abi´s parents, John and Anne in Bogotá for a month visit! it was a really good time together.
We had loads of fun learning how to make naan bread, yogurt and short bread (thanks Anne!!!) John was doing some DIY around the house that are basically the things that i meant to do but i never did! (massive thanks John) like painting some doors and put the handles of them (we took them off a year ago, because they were old and i didn´t manage to put them!!), fixing a shelve´and other things around the house! Master!
We were able to visit the Colombian coast for 10 days and it was really fun to do it when Chloe can understand more about what is going on! She loved see the horses of the chariots that were passing around the old town of Cartagena. We traveled by bus from Cartagena to Santa Marta, trip that we loved. And in Santa Marta we could enjoy the pool even when the winds were really strong!!!
I made the most of the time in the coast to sneak out to visit a possible project for Striders in the WYAM base in Cartagena and talk with a Vineyard church in Santa Marta about a team of 4 coming to help them for 7 weeks! i was invited to preach that Sunday!
Back in Bogotá John and Anne accepted an invitation to teach in a leaders meeting in our church! It was so cool to see them in action! God was moving so strongly in that session! They not just blessed us but as well our church with their visit!
